Metallic Texture

In this tutorial we will learn how to make a metallic texture to use in your projects.

1. Open a New Document in Photoshop. 250×250 hieght/width.
2. Make sure foreground color is a dark grey color and background color is white.
3. Use the Paint Bucket to fill in the canvas with the dark grey.

4. Goto Filter > Noise > Add Noise… and set Amount to 15. Click Gaussian and Monochromatic.

5. Goto Filter > Brush Strokes > Angled Strokes. Set Direction Balance to zero.
