Creating a sharp edge high tech navigation bar for a website

Create a rounded rectangle using rounded rectangular shape tool.

Enable “subtract from shape area” at the top bar. Create a rectangle using rectangular shape tool.

Enable add to shape area from the top bar. Create a rectangle using rectangular shape tool. Select and move the top right node using direct selection tool.

Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown.

Duplicate the layer and scale down a bit. Remove stroke layer styles and apply gradient overlay settings as shown.

Similarly create another shape as shown. Apply 1st layer style.

Duplicate layer, scale down and apply 2nd layer style.

Create a rectangle using rectangular shape tool. Press Ctrl+T. Right Click and select Perspective. Adjust the nodes to get the shape as shown. Apply same layer style.

Duplicate the layer several times and place as shown.

Create a rectangle using rectangular shape tool.

Create a small ellipse using elliptical shape tool.

Duplicate the layer several times and place as shown.

Keep duplicating layer and place to create a curved coil as shown below.

Similarly create coil for the other side.

Create a new layer. Select a solid 1 pixel brush. Create some dots with white and black color as shown.

Select and merge all the layers. Press Ctrl+L to open level settings. Apply settings as shown.
