Add a Tattoo

addtatoo005

1. Open two separate images in Photoshop. One image is that of the tatoo. The other is the photo of the person you will be applying the tattoo onto the person’s skin.

2. Create a new layer in the photo of the person. Name the layer “Tattoo Artwork”.
3. Paste the tattoo artwork onto this new layer.

4. Click Ctrl+T to enter Free Transform Mode. Use the shape handles to resize and reposition the tattoo where you want it to be on the person’s skin.

5. Change the opacity of the “Tattoo Artwork” layer to lighten it. This will give it a more realistic appearance, as if it is faded.

6. After the opacity change of the layer, you should have a realistic looking tattoo.
